FBS provides benefits to Builders not available from almost any other producer in North America. From wall panels to floor panels and roof trusses, FBS structures are superior. Fewer call backs, higher JD Power scores and faster home sales all result from the benefits delivered by the FBS System.

Quality - FBS wall panels are made from KD and Engineered lumber in panels up to 27' long and 12' high (balloon frame are also available) and are true to within millimeters along the full length of the panel.

Speed - FBS' panelized approach, using larger panels that are more complete (framed, sheathed and windows installed) enable much more rapid assembly of any wood frame structure. Recently a 3,000 square foot custom home was assembled to plate line in one day. Production homes can be framed in 40-60 percent less time than stick frame. Multi-family structures can cut 1/3 to ½ from the framing time.

Lower Cost - Compared to stick frame costs, the FBS system lowers the builders costs by 10-30% for the frame package - assembled walls, floor, roof and windows. FBS factory labor is only 25% of experienced on site, as a result of automation. Raw material cost is significantly less as well, as FBS can take delivery of millions of board feet of lumber and has a waste factor of less than 3%.  As a result of these advantages, FBS can offer it's product at a better price than either stick frame or other panel producers, while maintaining higher quality and faster speed of erection.

Green Building - The FBS System focuses on Green materials in it's production. From SFI certified lumber to OSI Green Series Low VOC caulks and adhesives, FBS is constantly expanding it's use of Green Materials. On a recent build FBS delivered 12 Leeds points to the Builder.

In addition, FBS's waste in the factory is 3% (all recycled) as compared to 15-22% on site, dramatically reducing on-site waste and extending the life of our landfills. Many cities and counties throughout the West have become very demanding in their environmental requirements and FBS's Green System can help builders and developers in these jurisdictions.

Prevailing Wage – The FBS systems delivers a much more complete product to the jobsite, cutting the Framing wages required on site by a significant margin. This makes an FBS install extremely hard to beat financially and in every other way.
