For Engineers

The FBS process is focused on providing Architects with a finished product that is consistent with their original vision and Engineers with systematic implementation of their design, delivering better quality, faster completion of a closed in structure and at a lower cost to the builder.

The first step is for FBS to create a whole house CAD design from your provided plans, panel by panel, allowing a 3D model of the home to be constructed to ensure that the finished product meets your original vision and design requirements. FBS then provides the CAD drawings to you for final approval to ensure your design requirements have been faithfully rendered prior to production of walls

Next, FBS uses Kiln-dried lumber to manufacture the panels. This lumber is dried before it is cut and planed, delivering true dimensional lumber. As opposed to green lumber, FBS’ finished product does not change shape, pop nails or crack at window and door joints. FBS deliver fewer call-backs and are superior in quality.

The panels are manufactured in a highly automated environment and under strict manufacturing guidelines, dramatically reducing the potential for human error .The panels are delivered exactly as the CAD design indicates and exactly as per the Engineers design.

Once CAD design is approved, panels are produced and delivered with detailed installation and assembly instructions. All floor and wall panels are identified with unique numbers sequence and a detailed installation guide is provided. The assembly crew knows exactly where each panel is to be placed and how to place and connect it. See examples of the assembly instructions.
